AVK Museum opens its doors

The idea for the museum originated from Niels Aage Kjær's vision to preserve and share the history, values, and milestones that have shaped AVK through generations. What started as a sketch on a piece of paper gradually evolved into a much larger undertaking. Historical documents were collected, photographs rediscovered, products tracked down and stories carefully documented. Located where much of the journey began the museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the people, products, and decisions that helped build AVK into a global company.

Through historical artefacts, photographs, products, interactive installations, and digital timelines, visitors are taken on a journey through AVK's development and the values that continue to guide us today. The museum highlights not only where we come from, but also how innovation, quality, reliability, sustainability, and customer focus have contributed to AVK's growth around the world.

I have long wanted to gather and preserve the story of AVK. Not just because it is our history, but because it helps us understand who we are and what we stand for. The museum is a tribute to the many people who have helped build AVK through generations and a way of sharing our values and culture with future generations."

- Niels Aage Kjær, Chairman of the Board, AVK Holding

The museum has been created for the entire AVK family and will play an important role in onboarding new employees, customer visits, partner meetings, and visits from AVK companies across the Group. In this way, it serves not only as a record of the past but also as a shared reference point for the future.
